Pomegranate Seed Oil: Heigh in the antioxidants vitamins C and K phytoestrogens, omega-5 conjugated fatty acids, and conjugated linolenic acid (punicic acid). Fatty acids are powerful anti-inflammatory agents and free radical scavengers. Pomegranate seed oil can encourage the production of keratinocytes, helping fibroblasts stimulate cell turnover. Which may help relieve symptoms of acne. Pomegranate oil is rich in vitamin K, and boasts an abundance of protective polyphenolic compounds such as punicic acid, flavonoids, anthocyanidins and tannins.
